Pigeons

The pigeons have made their home on the burnt roof of the main building. And also on our roof, as our office is on the roof deck. They remind me of Australia, as there are birds everywhere.

Pinakbet

Melissa, my former co-worker, treated me and Flor out for lunch at the old Hacienda Grill. I think it's now called Elvinario's. The food was good -- pinakbet, kare-kare, and fish and chips. We even have dessert -- coffee lava -- and a cup of coffee -- cappuccino. It was good to catch up on each other's news particularly since the last time we ate out was in 2008.

Palm tree

This palm tree was made from a bottle of Sprite. How would I know? Because I saw a man along United Nations Avenue making one. And all he was using was a pair of scissors. Quite an artist, that man. Except for that one time I never saw him again. I wish I'd bought one of his products then.

Chicken joy

After my business at the PDIC I knew I had to eat lunch and fast because I couldn't help giggling when the guy from WWF was asking me questions. His response to my giggly answers -- he hopes that I'm always hungry. Oh, and below is what I had for lunch: a one-piece Chicken Joy without drinks at Jollibee.

Declutter

Declutter -- that's my main goal for this year. To attain this purpose I thought to start with giving away some of the books I've already read. Better share them with others than having them accumulate dust and occupying precious space

This was one of Ann's and Manny's christmas decorations for the year 2010. So before Manny stored all the decorations away I took pictures first.

Fresh pasta

While waiting for my breakfast at Benny's (ground floor of Rustan's supermarket) to arrive I took some pictures of the fresh pasta being sold in the supermarket.

Nutcracker

A Christmas gift from Ann. Isn't he cute? And I bet you don't know that he's made from three paper bags given by Ayala Malls (Market Market) during the Christmas season.

Wreath

Our Christmas wreath, when lit, can be seen a block away. Come to think of it, it can also be seen from afar even when unlit.
